01 See Shatranj.  The Fil, Aufin or Alfin (the Leaper).   See ‘Fil’. 

02 Al-, is the Arabic prefix which means ‘the’.   Astronomy: Al-nitak (means ‘the belt’), and Al-nilam (means ‘belt of pearls’).   These are names used to refer to the stars in the belt of Orion.
