Battle
of the Alamo Chess Set. Handmade from Old English Solider Metal (a
pewter-like alloy) and then beautifully hand painted, this fine chess set
celebrates the famous battle in 1836 at the Alamo Fort in Texas. An army of 4,000
Mexican troops led by General Santa Anna besieged and attacked the Alamo Fort,
which was defended by 182 Texan volunteers.
The first of these sets to be produced, are displayed at the Alamo
Museum in Texas. Printed Parchment

set and details of their characters.
