13^th/14^th century.   Author of the most famous chess morality.    Caxton translated the manuscript and it appeared as ‘Game and Playe of the Chesse’.    He gave a series of sermons using chess and gave each PA a distinct character by the use of an allegorical theme.   Publisher of a book ‘Liber de moribus Hominum et officiis Nobilium’ during the latter half of the 13^th century and later published by William Caxton.   In Chesmayne each MP/mp has a name and a number.   Dominican monk.
